Day One Of Filming
First, our group put the cassete inside the video camera (Canon XM2 DV). After we got a firewire lead. Next we switched on the iMac and linked the firewire cable to the computer, logging on to the 'AS Media' area and opened Final Cut Express 4. Soon after, capturing a range of shots on the iMacs, reviewing what we have done, we choose the best establishing shot we recorded and cutted a specific section from the clip so we start off with continuity editing, dragging it down towards the timeline.
Day Two of Filming
It looked like our group did not have enough footage that would last for a very long time, so on saturday we all headed towards a bridge in north west london, with an urban enviroment around the bridge. With that in mind we got shots of police cars, a street light at dark, and buses to give the people watching the film that we are in the deprived areas of london.
Day Three Of Filming
We still needed shots of the main character so Keith set up a filming date with Igor to film his scenes in the phonebooth at dusk receiving a terrible phone call.
Day Four Of Filming
The last scene needed to be filmed so Keith, Igor, Rejaul & Shihab set up the final scene in Shihab's estate. We filmed the scene of Igor & Rejaul meeting up after a lift scene and shihab coming down the stairs. After they hunt down Rejaul and close up shots are used. Also extreme close ups are used when Rejaul is on the phone. The sequence ends when we get the camera from Rejauls point of view and the it ends with a bang as the props used go towards the camera
